International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research Noosphere

Conflict of Interest Policy

The International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research Noosphere is committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and integrity in academic publishing. To uphold these standards, authors, reviewers, and editors involved in the publication process are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the content or outcome of the manuscript.

For Authors:
Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional affiliations that could potentially affect the objectivity of their research. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Financial interests: Such as funding, grants, employment, stock ownership, royalties, or patents related to the research or its outcomes, particularly concerning biochemical technologies, products, or methodologies.
  2. Personal relationships: That might influence the interpretation or presentation of data.
  3. Professional affiliations: Including board memberships, consultancy roles, or advisory positions with organizations such as pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, or regulatory bodies that could create a bias in the research.

All conflicts of interest must be declared at the time of manuscript submission, and a formal statement should be included within the manuscript. If no conflicts exist, authors should explicitly state, "The authors declare no conflict of interest."

For Reviewers:
Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that could impair their ability to provide an objective evaluation of the manuscript. This includes:

  1. Any direct or indirect financial or personal relationships with the authors.
  2. Collaboration or competitive research interests that may influence the review.
  3. Any institutional or corporate affiliations related to the manuscript’s subject matter.

If a reviewer feels their impartiality could be compromised, they must decline the review and inform the editorial office without delay.

For Editors:
Editors involved in making editorial decisions must also disclose any conflicts of interest. If an editor has any relationships, financial or otherwise, with the authors or associated entities of a manuscript, such as involvement in the research field discussed, they must step aside from the editorial process. The manuscript will then be reassigned to another qualified and unbiased editor.

Managing Conflicts of Interest:
When a conflict of interest is identified, the International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research Noosphere follows these protocols:

  1. Transparency: Any declared conflict will be openly stated in the published article to maintain transparency.
  2. Reassignment: Manuscripts may be reassigned to different editors or reviewers to avoid biased assessments.
  3. Ethical Oversight: The editorial board will review any declared or discovered conflicts to ensure proper management and resolution.

Failure to disclose a relevant conflict of interest may result in the rejection or retraction of the manuscript. The International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research Noosphere is dedicated to preserving the objectivity and credibility of the scholarly record. Adherence to this policy is essential for upholding the journal’s ethical standards.

By ensuring full disclosure and responsible conduct, the journal supports ethical and unbiased scientific advancement in the field of biochemistry and related life sciences.
