Ethics Policy

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research Noosphere is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct throughout all stages of the publication process. All participants in the publishing process—including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—are expected to commit to the following ethical principles to maintain the integrity and credibility of scientific research in biochemistry and related life sciences.

1. Duties of Authors
Originality and Plagiarism:

Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and free from plagiarism. Proper acknowledgment of the work and ideas of others is required. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism or duplicate publication, constitutes unethical behavior and is strictly prohibited.

Multiple Submissions:
Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to more than one journal. Submitting the same research to multiple outlets is considered unethical and unacceptable.

Accuracy and Data Integrity:
Authors are responsible for presenting accurate, transparent, and reproducible data. All findings must be clearly reported, including methodology, experimental design, and statistical analyses. Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is considered scientific misconduct.

Conflict of Interest:
Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could be viewed as influencing their research. This includes affiliations with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, or other commercial entities involved in biochemical research.

2. Duties of Editors
Fair Play:

Editors shall evaluate submitted manuscripts based solely on their scientific merit and relevance to the journal’s scope, without discrimination based on the author’s background, affiliation, gender, race, or political beliefs.

Confidentiality:
Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and related communications. Information should not be shared with anyone outside the peer review process.

Conflict of Interest:
Editors should avoid handling manuscripts in which they have a personal or professional conflict of interest. They must ensure all ethical concerns are addressed and take appropriate action in cases of suspected misconduct.

3. Duties of Reviewers
Confidentiality:

Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not share or discuss the content with others unless authorized by the editor.

Objectivity:
Peer reviews should be conducted impartially and constructively. Reviewers should provide clear and reasoned critiques aimed at improving the quality of the manuscript without resorting to personal attacks.

Acknowledgment of Sources:
Reviewers are expected to identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any significant overlap or similarity with previously published material must be reported to the editor.

Thank you for your contribution to ensuring the scientific and ethical integrity of the International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research Noosphere.
